Beams Mr2 Swap

I would like to go NA all the way with my 91 MR2 but rather then get the 4th gen beams jdm MR2 engine i would like to swap the Altezza RS200 engine into it. I all wanted to know is if it is worth it and where i can find the engine?

I'd say its worth it... if you can afford it... if not do a v6 swap, its cheap and basically the same performance..

haha v6 isnt the same...... its called torque. the altezza just wont fit man! and good luck getting a beams engine.... there like 4k for the engine alone. and thats not your average swap, so your prob going to need some one to do that for ya.

if every thing goes well i should be getting my hands on a 96 jdm 3sge from a celica. i will stoke it with the 5s crank and drop it in my self and have a shop do the wiring. and it should cost me less than 2k.


and making the same HP as the beamS!!!
