Question Miles/Kilometers check!!

All MR2 people: 91 - 95
How many Miles or Kilometers do you have right now?

Are you still running strong?

What can I do to a stock 3s-gte to get it tuned up that has 130,000 miles on it. i.e. (Maintanence checklist)
Like if you were about to purchase 3s-gte what would you be looking out for (engine wise). Please explaine for Test Drive and looking at the engine bay.

My main objective is to get the engine runing like new first and then upgrade acordingly.

Thanks

Future owner: MR2 Turbo

Louis

your also going to want to change all seals and all gaskets....also might wants to look into rebuilding the head and most likely the turbo to. Aso for the head get new valves, valve springs, etc. Also look into new waterpump, and all new belts!!! also all ignition as MRQ stated!

This is good!. . . Now if I'm gona change the gaskets. Would I go with TRD gaskets (metal)? I am only looking to reach 250rwhp as a goal. Would it be worth it? This thread will be on my favorites so I can refer to it when I get this car.

Rebuilding the turbo? or Replace? would it matter?
Eventualy would replace the exaust to a highperformance one so the turbo header need replacement also?

Thanks guys.
