I took mine about 130mph in the desert by willlow springs when it was NA. I don't think the top speed gets too much faster w/ the turbo.

For turbo genII, top speed is somewhere between 145mph to 150mph.

I have gone to 140mph myself.

So does the speed differ between the automatic and manual version?

I dont' think the top speed really differs between auto/5spd. Yes mine was NA at the time. It's been swapped since then though.

The Jspec tranny will hit 110in 3rd, so if you got the power, I think 160-170 is obtainable

I'm not sure about specifics, but I'm guessing its just wider gear ratios than the US spec. The only thing I'm sure about is that it has the same bolt pattern as the 5sfe, it bolts on no problem. I'd never get it though, I have no reason to go above 140mph

a close friend's cousin has a 12 second 5sfe, he recommended I swap the tranny instead of upgrading my clutch. He was complaining about the 5sfe tranny running such high rpm when cruising on the highway. Where he got the info, I don't know... sorry I can't answer that. I couldn't find an actual top speed online, but I know the 4th gen 3SGTE puts out 260-270hp stock
