MR2 TRD value

I'm looking at a 2001 MR2 Spyder with 20K miles at a local dealer. The car is in "as new" condition and drives really nice. It has the TRD ground effects package (I'm ignorant about these things so don't know stage number - no rear wing) and the TRD racing suspension package on it. How much extra should I allow for these add-ons?

Thanks

Mike

None!!! Try and tell the dealer that you don't really care if they are on there or not. They will probably be too lazy to take them off and not charge you. I would try to get out of it completely.

If they still try and charge you.... go to another Toyota dealership and get a price on the TRD parts that are on your car. I'd give them like 1/2 of that price.

to clarify

I know what the car is worth (NADA) without the TRD stuff. I was wondering wht the TRD stuff was worth installed on a used car that is in excellent condition. I don't even know what the TRD add ons are worth when they are new. Just looking for a fair amount that the extras are worth in the deal so I won't pay more than I should.

When stuff is installed..there is no pricing. From what you stated:just call your closest toyota compititor and talk to someone in parts dept. They will guide you. DONT ask them for used pricings. Remember parts on a car = 1/2 of what they are worth new!

the body kit would prolly cost around 2-3gs from dealer.....the suspension....if just springs/shocks....around 1g....if coilovers...then around 1500 or so for a set of trd coilovers....
