Need help Answering Questions for Mega Squirt please.

I have a Toyota MR2 1991 2.2sfe its bored over .2, 255 fuel pump, turbocharger, putting it back together now, and i want to get rid of as much and many wires as possible. Also i took out the Ac and Heater lines, so if anyone could help with this stuff here that would be awsome, also if you know any thing im going to need to make my car run right with all this stuff being done any advice would be a great help.

***5. How many teeth/windows/slots and what orientation does the CAS, crank trigger, and/or distributor wheel have? (any missing? all evenly spaced?)

**6. Is there a distributor? Single/Multiple Coils? Coil on Plug?

**7. Does this engine have a fast idle valve (IAC)? If so, how many wires are connected to it? Do you know if it is an on/off, pulse width modulated, thermal, or stepper type?

That would be .020 bore.
Do you have all the supporting mods for the turbo?
Larger injectors.
Intercooler, fan, piping, couplers and clamps.
FPR
Oil lines- supply and return.
Boost gauge.
I take it you are going to use Mega Squirt for engine management.

It uses a distributor, coil and ignitor.

lol yeah i was in a hurry writing this up earlyer on the bore but, the injectors are the only thing of those i don't have yet. I dont really know what size to go with or if the 315cc supra would be enough what would you say, and yes the MS is for management.

Minimum, I think I would go with the 440 3sgte injectors or bigger.
Ideally, 550 Supra injectors. They are plug and play.
Thats the route I will go with my t04e, if and when I go with the 264 cams.

ATS Racing.

These guys are MR2 experts.I have bought from them many times.

ChicoRaceWorks is also another good supplier and experts with the MR2

If you're using the stock 5sfe head, I would also recommend using a 170 degree thermostat. ATS racing also sells those.

The 91-92 5sfe used a variable reluctor sensor and a wheel with 24 teeth, evenly spaced inside the distributor.

It has a distributor with a single external coil mounted on the rear firewall.

Yes. It is the same IAC shared across most Toyota engines of the time. It is a 3 wire reverse PWM. Last I heard you have to make a separate circuit to run the IAC using the FIDLE output on the MS because the on-board will not run this type.

As for injectors, their size depends on the peak HP you will have. 5sfes use top feed, high impedance injectors so the ones from a 2jz or 3sgte are not compatible. The 315cc injectors from the mk3 NA Supra will fit but are only adequate to about 200rwhp and so with a t3/t4 are a bad idea. A better choice would be the 460cc injectors from a RX7. They are good to about 300rwhp. You can also buy new ones from various places in bigger sizes but the are not cheap.

You should also be aware that the stock ring end gap on the 5sfe may cause you problems at around 250rwhp. If you are shooting for power at or above that you need to widen the end gap to 3sgte specs or bigger.

So i was wondering is there any way to get rid of the IAC, also I'm going to use a EDIS with the MSII pcb 3.57 and with this system you can run high and low Imp injectors

I have heard of people who run without the IAC but I'm not sure how they are controlling the idle speed. I'm sure some combination of timing and fuel could be used to do that but check the MS documentation. The 3sgte and 2jzgte injectors will not physically fit but your right the MS can run high or low impedance so you just need to find some top feed injectors big enough for your intended peak HP.
