...sleeper style or should I do stuff to my car? I would definatly like to drop it an inch... not sure how that will look on stock rims. I will probably get the '94 rims if I do stay sleeper style... and do the taillight conversion. Other than that... leave the body alone, and drop any car cash into the engine. I would also probably shave the antenna and get it painted because the paint is a little oxidized.
Think it will look funny dropped on stock 15's? I know it would look funny on the 14's.
keep it clean watever you do..
i made the mistake of goin the body kit route!and expensive paint <~ gotta be all carefull and shiet! it's a pain in the ass...
but lowering it on the newer 15's .. nothing wrong there, and newer tails, shaved anttena and paint sounds like a plan! maybe even a lip kit... at most..
Ya, don't think I want to change the apperance too much.
I think the car looks rediculous with the antenna up (it's the kind above the driver door)... so it's never up... may as well shave it. I just think the car needs to get all the little dents removed and be repainted.... just some small things that bug the hell out of me. Little dents in the doors... fading paint on the wing..... nothing you will really see unless you look really close.
OMG NO!!! I'll take a pic of one today. There is one by my house... they just moved in... now wing look so damn ugly (no offense to anyone without a wing, I just don't like the look). Unless I can find one online... it just looks funny without the wing.
i find that hard to believe that the mr2 could look like a sleeper...car just looks fast...
if ur not into bodykits....lower the car n get some nice rims...16's minimum....rims do make the car....look at mine...still stock bodied til i conjure up some cash to get a paintjob and install my kit...
Ya... but most people don't know what they are.... or even realize that they are MR. Anyone have a car lowered on stock 94'ish rims? I kinda want to see what it looks like before I do it.
TRD kits cost several thousand dollars. Most of the imitations don't fit. I think I'm going to get those 15's. If they have rubber I will buy them.... they are like $200 - 300 from this guy. We shall see how it goes.... I don't want anything too outrageous and flashy.
no..thats not my car....just a pic i found for you....i can't even tell what yr that car is....has 93 lip and 94 wing and 93+ rims.....but its prolly a 93...that colour looks like super red.......car is lowered.....look ma...no wheel well gap........
what..u still think theres a gap??.....on stock height...u could fit four fingers perpendicular to tire....on that pic....maybe two fingers....on my car...maybe one finger if its not too fat......
^ True..... I dont know.... maybe I will get rims.... I'm just so damn confused. I would rather not spend money on cosmetic stuff.... and drop it in my engine. But that just might be my one thing.
