92 MR2 Turbo Need New Air Flow Meter (Sensor) Which One?

I can always count on this forum for good advice.

I did all the BGB checks and cleaned. Mine is just worn out after 20 years of use. Car bogs, light comes on, car runs rich, and MPG dropped by 10. Cleaning helped, but it needs to be replaced. My car is all stock.

Toyota wants $700. part # 22250-74220
Beck/Arnley, $322, part # 1570175
Python, $182, part # 840-829

Does anyone have any experience with Python? I like the price.

Never heard of Python.
I know of Beck/Arnley, but the only part I've bought from them was a split CV boot, which was fine.
$700.00 is pretty steep, but I think I would feel more comfortable with OEM. But for that price, you could almost buy a new air/fuel controller and eliminate the AFM altogether.

thanks.........

Python is rebuilt but no core return.

Beck/Arnlry is rebuilt with a $40 core charge.

A1 Cardone will rebuild your old one for $189, but you will be down for a week or two. It's my daily driver and loving it.

I will go with Python on Amazon with free shipping.

I'll report back on how it works. Keeping my MR2 Turbo stock or close to it. I got mags of course, the stock wheels and tires are pathetic. Its lowered a bit and I put in an ATS CT27 back in 2009. The Kitty is gutless...sounds great with stock muffler.

Looking forward to how it works.
If mine goes out, I sure don't want to have to fork out $700.00.
