Turbo MR2 Pulley Unorthodox Racing

I have a 2nd gen 3sgte what would be the eprformance gains if putting on an Unorthodox Racing Under Drive Pulley? Is it bad for the car...what does it specifically do?

The idea of the pulley is to reduce rotational mass in the engine, which is a good idea for adding power.
The problem is the pulley replaces the harmonic balancer/dampener that is needed to maintain a balanced engine.
This is not a concern if you are building a race car and plan rebuilding the engine frequently.

If you have a street car and desire longevity from your engine, I would say forget about this piece.
