Has anybody done a HID conversion on their MR2? If so I would be very interested in pics. I know Philips has on out but HID is LARGE!! Just interested in some ideas. Thinking maybe NSX head lights, the older low pop up style head lights.

Which gen? When you say conversion, do you mean bulb swap or projector mod? If you mean mod, I am curious also.

Do you mean something like the Revision 6 lights for the MKII?

^ those would be super nice but pricey for the mod rogue headlights. but if anyone is interested in these they can be found on twosrus.com http://www.twosrus.com/catalog/produ...c404a2fca11d8b

A cheaper alternative would be buying pegasus housing located @ norcal.com These would be not your fake ebay projectors but real projectors retroffitted. They're about 1/3 of the price of the rogue set
http://norcalmr2.com/store/

Another option would be buying hella lamps, cibie lamps or autpopal e-code

Hella Lamps are very pricey just as much as the pegasus.
The cibie are up to par with them. Some people like these more then the hella lamps.
Autopal set (get the e code one if your going HID) is cheaper should only run about 40 or so. and So far i've heard nothing but great things about them. The cut off line is not as sharp as the other 2 but it is WAY better than those ebay stuff.

The 3 brands that i've stated above are not projectors but do have a cut off line. The ebay junk with a "projector lens" will blind many drivers and possibly melt the housing if paired with HIDs.

I personally would go either pegasus help fellow mr2 enthusiast or buy the autopal set. And have HIDs for them.

Also note depending what type of HIDs single or bi-xenon bulbs. Singles will only allow you use to low beam lights and no High beams. The bi-xenon bulbs are actually 2 separate bulbs and will allow you to use the high beams and low.

To my knowledge pegasus at the moment does not have the option of using bi-xenons as they are too big for the housing and they use h7 bulbs not h4.
