Lightbulb 2nd Gen Input Pleez

Hey Everyone.
New to the forum and just wanted to see if I could squeeze info out of you MR2 gurus. Ok, Gettin interested in the 2nd gen. Wanna first ask what are usual prices for 91-95 Turbo 2nd gens in good shape, solid, and I'm lookin for something with under 100k mi, the less the better. I got a friend who's interested in Mr2s as well, so I'm trying to get info for the both of us. Any info on performance and handling would be appreciated as well. How good is the handling? How reliable are the MRs? Thanks for any input and hope to be hearing from you all on the forum.

Handling is great.... you will spin the car a couple of times before you get used to it.... but practice makes perfect. A 91 - 95 can run you anywhere from $3k to $12k depending on what you get and how rare that particular model is. You can usually pick up a pretty nice one for around $5 or $6k. The car will be as nice to you as you are to it.... if you beat the car it will give you nothing but trouble.... if you are nice to it.... it will last you forever. Hope you enjoy your 2 when you get it

90-93 will run you $4-7k
94+ are a little bit rare and much higher in price especially for a low mileage MR2.

So, how would you guys say the MR2 compares the FD (3rd gen Rx7 , if you didn't know) I'm kinda interested in both cars, but kinda want a more reliable car, have heard many horror stories of the FD. I Like both cars, but in your opinion, which is better for the $?

I've been looking for a nice SW20 for a while, good luck finding one for those prices though at least down here in florida finding a good one sub $9k is nearly impossible... I've found a handfull but still come up short... but then again my funds arent exactly where they should be.

got mine for 3500....runs great almost 200k miles. mileage aint everythin man...as long as it runs strong. If a car has low mileage it doesnt always means it was babied. mr2fasho got his for like 7k 94 n/a with 72k miles. CLEAN.
