Jdm instrument cluster installation...Please help!!

I am having some trouble installing a jdm cluster into my car.....what I thought to be an hour long project went to be about 2.5 hours and tach/speedo/warning lights all not working. If anyone has done this kind of cluster swap before, could you run me through how to successfully make it work! Thanks

What the hell is the difference between the JDM and USDM cluster??

it is in km/h and the speedo and tach are flipped
