I'm new to the site and recently got a na 93 MR2. I love my car but the 5s-fe is just not powerful enough. I want to swap a 3s-ge in but i cant find any place that sells them. I would also like to know how much it would cost. Thanks!

It cost me about $4,500 all together to have a shop do it. If you did it yourself it would be maybe $1,000 cheaper. PM Dennis on here.... http://ctjengines.com/ ... I think he has a couple of 2nd gen clips. I dunno if he ships or not though.... he is down here in California.

go hybrid and go with the 3sgte head swap route... mmmm 2.2L

that way you can keep your block. its going to cost $$$money$$$ either way you go though..

Mmmm..... I'd take a 3SGE over a 5SGTE (2.2L Block w/ 3sgte head). Just purely because it is rare.... and you will probably never run into another one.
