boost gauge mounting

i'm just looking for advice on where to mount my boost guage. i have an autometer lite series boost gauge.

i was thinking about mounting it in the stock location, but the gauge is relatively large at 2 1/16". it will require too much cutting...and i'm just not up for screwing up more parts.

where have you mounted ur gauges?

Top of the steering wheel looks good.... I have also seen them placed where the ashtray goes. And i put mine.... under my head unit.... http://www.highoctanenetworks.com/my...ge/mounted.jpg .... just tossed it in there with some abs.... but you have to cut it like.... |_( )_| to make it fit... you can't just make one piece.... its too thick... unless your gauge is a bit smaller. Or you can always just get a gauge pod... but im not a big fan.
