i was considering swaping a 4AGZE with my 4AGE in my corolla....but this one web site i went was bitching and complaining about how unreliable the 4AGZE's are.....so....is there anyone who can tell me if the guy was crazy and he was wrong..or if he is completly right.

Ya.... sounds like some sort of ass clown. It's a Toyota... if you treat it right it will run you well over 250k miles.

I have a friend who swapped the 4AGZE into his Corolla FX16.
The swap went fine, but the awful torque steer that come with the added power made teh car unfun to drive.

He hasn't touched it in years

oh boohoo! gimme the damn engine and I'll put it on my car.

maybe if he had changed the 14inch S rated tires into something grippier he wouldn't have that problem.

I had a 88 mr2 sc a few years back. I ran 14psi and nos with a stock bottom end and never had a problem. Its a great engine and makes alot of power. I miss that car.
