Headlight Adjuster/Controller

trying to find a way to get the "lazy eye" look with my MKII without having to buy the $80 Pivot Headlight controller, anyone know if there is a way to rig it up with resistors or know of a cheaper controller?

The best way I've found is to just use the manual crank behind the lights under the hood. They stay up until you turn the lights on, so it only works during the day and you have no light coming from them, but it looks cool at daytime.
