lsd tranny in 93

did all 1993 turbo mr2's come with lsd tranny?mine was made in early 93.does that matter?

93's had LSD as a factory option...not all cars have them....

JekylandHyde mine reads atm 735.so must be lsd.

jack the car up...turn the wheels...both should spin if u have lsd.....i think thats how u can manually check......

That "test" does not work on the MR2.

And the actually test is if the move in the same direction = LSD
If they turn in opposite directions it ian open diff.

That test only works on "clutch type" LSD units. We have a viscous coupling:

Nope! The OEM system is a viscous coupling. When one wheel starts to slip at a great enough rate, the viscous coupling will begin to apply torque to the other wheel. You will NOT generate enough energy rotating one wheel by hand to "energize" the coupling.
