If you are on the stock turbo... I don't know if it makes THAT much of a difference. If you plan on upgrading down the road.... it might be something you want to do while you are doing the exhaust. If you are going to do it... go 3".... may as well go big if your gonna go at all.

Yes a downpipe makes a significant difference on the OEM turbo.

I would NOT buy a downpipe if you are planning on getting a different turbo later as the downpipe will NOT work with other turbos (except the CT20B).

If you are keeping the OEM turbo (CT26) or you have a CT20B, I would just get a full downpipe.

i dont think that the blitz downpipe is an actual downpipe i think that it is just a difuser that bolts on to the bottom of the factory dp

There is no "factory downpipe."
From the factory there is a turbo elbow and the primary cat.
Most companies that sell downpipes, sell a piece that replaces the turbo elbow and the primary cat.

Blitz sells a downpipe that bolts up to the factory elbow.
I would suspect the KO Racing DP Would flow a lot better because of this.

Tell Ken at KO that I sent you

Here is what the Blitz DP looks like:
