Since Toyota as announced that they will discontinue the Celica and the MR2 in the States in 2005, does this mean that the MR2 and the Celica be discontinued in Japan as well?

Nope, they're going to stay in production, and from what I hear there will be a Hardtop MR2 (not S) Turbo...

Its a sad time to live in America...

They are going to continue producing it in Japan and other countries... It's just that in North America, sales are crap... everywhere else is enough to sustain the production.
