New to the MR2 family..

yup just picked one up last week ,

92' N/A w/ T-tops , its freaking great , but one problem with it the front bumper (part with the toyota symbol) is oxidized / faded pretty bad. is there an easy way to fix it? or am i going to have to buy a whole new front bumper?


that and is there an easy way to fix the leaky t-tops? i read somewhere about the inserts , but i dont know where to get them at? im also trying the silicon spray trick , it seems to be helping a little , but yet it still leaks.

any info would be appriciated guys,

what color is your car? from what i've read, the non-Pearl colors are quite susceptible to fading in time. not sure, but maybe compounding it may buy you some time for painting.

I remember reading that vasiline helps w/ the t-top leaks.
