air intake question

i recently changed my stock air intake box with a cone filter set-up, and was wondering if there should be a concern about water getting in there. i wanted to get a toms scoop for my MR2 also, but the same concern arises.
any insight would be appreciated.

thanks,
mike

if its not anywhere outside of the engine compartment you're fine. Anything under the hood will stay dry.

thats what i figured. but the opening for the Tom Scoop leads to right above the intake. wouldn't THAT be a problem with water getting in?
