im looking for a 3rd generation 3SGTE mr2 engine, and an SW20 transmission...any ideas on where i can find this stuff?

No such thing as an SW20 tranny.... but I'm assuming you mean for a turbo. If you are planning on doing a swap... look for a half cut. There are a few shops in the LA area that have them.... but none of them ship. I think the shops are selling them swapped though.... like... you have to pay for the labor to get the engine. Probably a little out of the way for you. Most places on the internet have their horror stories... so I'd be careful. Try http://mr2warehouse.com ... I think they had a couple 3rd gens come through.

what do you mean the internet shops have their horror stories? cuz im thinkin thats really the only way i can get one, is to order it, by net or phone.

You know.... like..... XXXXX company screwed me over. I ordered a 3sgte and they send me a b16.... now they wont take it back. I tried to put the b16 in my honda.... and i started it and it blew up half of my house.... etc. etc....

You get the point.
