Up to 6 1/2" in the front doors and 4" in the rear side panel.

^those were narrowed down to what will fit in the car.

Sorry to bust in like this....but does anybody have any input as to the best speakers for the MR2? Looking for crisp sound, and fullest range possible.

may i suggest kicker comps, Alpine SPR's or type X's, or even sony explodes(for the inexpensive side). Just make sure you buy a decent amp to supply ample power to them. Ths is where clarity comes into play. I have Kicker Comps in my mkII. They sound great. Hope this helps.
