bye bye supra

well the time has come, i own a 89 supra turbo, i've grown tired of the project, and decided to trade it for a 92 non turbo mr2....
current plan's are as follows 3rd genn swap, full 3 way stereo 17x7 up front and 18x8 out back, coil overs and a full exhaust....
Car already has the tom's intake, most of the other turbo stuff, as far as fog lights and susp. parts. short shifter

just before i get knee deep in parts, is this swap as easy as it sound's? buy the rear clip, pull my car on the lift, drop the rear frame, put the other one in and drive away? is there any rewiring i should anticipate? any other parts that arent plug and play?

Thanx ya'll......... car should see the light of day this spring :-)

I actually got a 2nd gen... but the swap should be just as simple. Try and get a half cut not a clip. Clips aren't always what they crack up to be. Make sure you get a full uncut wiring harness... and the whole ass end of the car. Make sure the axles and intercooler are in there too. Also if you get the entire ass end... you will also get the side moldings and the 94+ Tails . If you are in New York... it might be worth looking at http://mr2warehouse.com -or- http://paautoracing.com (same place)... and try to get a half cut from them. They will even do the swap for you.... not sure how much they charge though. Everyone that has gone to them that I have talked to has been happy though.

Good luck w/ the new project . Keep us updated.
