question bout clutch

Like how much aprox. do mechanics charge to change the clutch on an mr2, mine is about to go and i was wondering.

hard to say.....mechanics do not have a set price, so it's different for each shop. My advice is to just call and get a few estimates.

make sure the mechanic is somewhat familiar with mr2's. Last time I got my clutch replaced they cracked some part of the driveshaft and gave me a bad oil leak. careful if they ask you how to pop your hood

the job was 350 tho

no way that's too much i'll save the $800 to buy me the 3sgte , I'm planing to swap it but that's for june next year, I need the car to go to work and hang out now.

The guy that did mine has a small shop, has about 4 mr2's in there at any given time... his SW20 is pushing around 640ish rwhp... I think I can trust him to do my clutch

btw, he will be at race rock...
