Question Air Intake Question

I installed an HKS intake in my (NA) 1992 MR2. About 2 weeks later I noticed that my car blows out white smoke briefly during the 1st start.

Is this normal?

The same thing happen to my 1996 celica when I installed Injen Air Intake. But I unstalled that intake because I gave it to my wife. After I installed the stock stuff back in, it stopped smoking the 2nd day.

Any experiences with this?

a little smoke is normal. should not happen consistently after driving tho. May be running too rich, but better rich than lean.

Reset your ECU, disconnect the battery and reconnect. It may correct things and adjust for the extra air..

Yeah, the air intake gives it more power just a little more. But if it's throwing white smoke it's prob because the car is cold. DOes it throw when you run it? If so, you need to put better gas or something.
