Question suspension noise?

I recently lowered my mr2 with tein s-tech springs. I love the new look but now I'm noticing some clapping noises when I hit small road bumps. I'm still riding on the stock shocks and I know the fronts are blown but it shouldn't be making the noise like it has a broken axle..(of coarse I know there aren't any axles on rear wheels drive cars) It just sounds like it. Could it be a wheel bearing?

Thumbs up

I found the problem today. It was the suspension link or the shocklink that hooks on to the front strut bar. The shop that lowered my car forgot to tighten the nut..Its all good now my car rides quiet.. Thank for the info..
