besides the fact that the jap spec engines have no emissions on them and they require a higher octane of fuel (92 or higher) what else are the differences between the us spec and the jap spec. Also i already know that the us spec has 200hp and the jap spec has 225, (3rd gen 245). I also heard that the jap has the ceramic ball bearing turbo and forged internals, does anyone know all the exact differences?

Turbo is ceramic... no it's not ball bearing. And no emissions stuff... thats about it. Unless you are talking about the thrid gen then there is all kinds of little stuff.

BTW: I run my JDM 3sgte on 91 Octane every day.

Im buyin a 2nd gen clip, so i dont really care about hte 3rd gen very much, It should be done by christmas but thanks
