What you drove would help... 18" is kinda big for any mr2 imo. but they will fit.

Is performance an issue, or will it be more for show? I'm trying to decide between 16" or 17". 18's will fit but they'd probably be heavy. ( slower 0-60 )

17' and 18's are more for show.....more weight, more centrifigal force and all that other jazz will make your 2 slower. 16's are ideal or even 15's. I have 15's and a set of 17's. The 17's do make a difference. If your 2 is NA then i wouldn't worry about speed.....lets just accept the fact that it's not that quick
