psi limitations

How much boost can a 3sgte block handle? not the rods,pistons, or haed gasket just the block.

There is has not been a case (that I have ever seen) of a 3SGTE failing from too much boost pressure.

3SGTE's break from detonation/knock ... tune safely and you will have no worries. I am currently racing at 23.5 ~ 25 psi of boost on a 200,000 mile engine.

There does seem to be some evidence that the 3SGTE block will crack at 700+ RWHP.

Im not looking for out of this world numbers. Just up grade the turbo and some 8.5:1 pistons and eagle rods, cometic head gasket. What HP numbers could I get with some tuning(bigger injectors, adj. fuel reg.)

That would depend on the size of your turbo, what kind of intercooling system (intake/exhuast), what kind of fuel management you have ... etc ... there are many pieces to the puzzle
