Suspension question

question.

I have an 89 mr2 sc (body is rotted but good motor) and also an 86 mr2 NA (body is great but motor well its not an SC) as you can probably guess I am doin the motor swap and was just wondering if the supension needed to be swapped over. (SC is a heavier Unit?) will this affect ride height... and if I buy lowering springs do i get springs for the SC or the NA. ?? and if anyone wants to add any other comments that may help... please do!! thanks !!

if you're keeping the NA body.....and not changing over the SC suspension.....if ur ordering springs....u will still need to order springs for the NA......since you have a donor car....why not just do the complete swap.....engine/tranny/suspension and any other parts u can swap over......

It's my understanding that they dialed in some more understeer on the s/c to keep the rear end in place at higher speeds. PERSONALLY, I would swap the rear suspension of the S/C over to the '86 and leave the front suspension alone. I would also recommend a second opinion because I'm no expert on the subject.
