Increased boost from EBC

I recently installed greddy Profec 2 EBC in my '91 MR2 turbo. I have been getting 16lbs boost consisitantly out of my stock CT26. spiked at 17.3 lbs a couple of times but adjusted gain and boost has been steady and consistant..am I over working my turbo? I'm surprised to crank out that much boost. runs great! but I'm concerned. any comments from you heavy boosters?

Most people run 15, 16 shouldn't be that bad... do you have an exhaust+intake? This could cause you to spike... are you using an FCD or just no cut?

I would keep it to 15 psi.
Anything above 15 psi with the CT26 turbo and you are increasing heat (chances for detonation) without much gain in power.

As long as your engine is healthy, 15 psi is not going to hurt anything
