CT26 porting

can the CT26 turbine side be ported to help flow and relieve some of the bottleneck there? anyone ever done this? recommended? would like to hear some of your views/experiences with this.

I believe that is what ATS did.... they are making pretty good power out of theirs for a stock turbo. CT20B is a good option too if you arne't looking for HUGE power.

CT26 porting

. My original goal was 280-300hp. but after much research , communicating and reading this forum, I think I just want to squeeze as much juice out of stock components that I can. I have already purchased HKS 264 cams in/ex. and have a modified CT26 that has 6 compressor blades instead of the standard 5. I plan on using those components. Thats why I was asking about porting the turbine side of this modified turbo. I know that physically it can be ported. My concern was having a thinner housing. what are your thoughts on this? too thin? cracks more likely? wharping?
I will upgrade the IC ,add the neccesary fuel upgrades and I will go with water injection too. those are all definates. whatever horsepower is achieved by that is what I will be happy with. Detonation is a big concern for me . I want this to all be safe and reliable.
