new owner...got question

wsup everyone. im going to be buyin a 1991 mr2 turbo for $3500.. he said that there a a leak in a water hose(radiator hosing im guessing) and he says it will drive about 10 miles before i have to pull over and it over heats. i was wondering if he was trying to BS me or not..he is a white male in his mid 30s.... also when i lok in the motor, i see some liquid like oil right before where the turbo is, and also i think by the intake manifold..i dont kno much about mr2, (honda guy). but i WILL be selling my honda and making room for my mr2..

soo is there anything i can check upon my second inspection? and what he said about the water leak, does that sound like bs ?

but i was thinking, turbo mr2 usually go for alot higher price, either way would it be a good deal, or average?

I'd find out where that leak is coming from. If it is the hose from hell or the hfhoe it will be a bitch to get in there and fix it... especially if you are not too familiar with the engine setup. Not too expensive if you do it yourself... but quite time consuming.
