I think it's something like 3-5hp. Makes the spool sound REALLLLY nice too though.

Is there anything else to the intake system other than just the filter?

iscoleobo and lachean posted 2 posts up what comes with the intake kit.

Lachean, the noise you are hearing is the BPV, not the wastegate. The wastgate does not "blow off," and when it opens it just sound like exhaust (nothing more, nothing less).
It is not something you would ever hear in the intake.

I love the Apexi Intake. I really felt a difference in off the lince acceleration and It makes my car sound nice with the headers I installed recently. These things can get pricey though. I bought 2 Brand New ones for $110 shipped from ebay.

Yep. My model is the N/A. If it will make a difference for the N/A, imagine te difference with the Turbo models. I just bought 2 so just incase something goes wrong with the other one or so IU can put it in my other cars later on

Turbo is different than NA. The turbocharger makes up for the pressure lost in the intake plumbing. Gain for turbo is minimal.
