Australia 2000 MR-S Beeps and auto clutch won't engage

Hi Guys,

I'm new so welcome me ...hehe

I'm from little ole New Zealand for thoes of you who don't know, south east of Australia!

I have a problem.

I have a White 2000 MR-S Special Edition Sequential Shift model and sometimes at the traffic lights it will beep loudly momentraly. When it does, the light goes green and I want to accelarate again and the auto clutch won't engage !?@?! ><

What is this problem and how can I solve it ? It is a transmission controller malfunction ? An actuator problem or perhaps I've run out of clutch(I doubt it) ?

Please help me ??!?

I'll find time to post pics up later

I'll say dealer is your best bet. I don't think fixing a sequential is a DIY.

if it's an auto, it doesn't have a clutch.... it uses a torque convertor... and they work on the basis of fluid movement...... i would first check your tranny fluid level, possibly take it somewhere (or do it yourself) and have the auto tranny filter replaced and replace all of the tranny oil...... if it still does it, it could possibly be a transmission modulator.....
