Spark Plugs

The Primer at MR Controls recommends NGK 6097 copper spark plugs. The only part match for that product number by NGK is this:
http://www.sparkplugs.com/results_cr...=6097&x=74&y=4
Is that the right one, or do you all suggest something else?

That is the correct part, but a stupid price.
I get them for $1.65 ~ 1.75 each at the local auto parts store.
It usually takes them 2-3 days to get them in.

hhhmmm? i went to NAPA and asked for NGK copper plugs and their computer specified BKR6E stock # 6962. I compared them side by side and they are same length/diameter.. but they were called V-Power...it was all they had in stock and I really wanted to get the Iridium plugs out. so I got them and ordered the 6097. they will be here in a couple of days. are those V-powers gonna be OK?

I do not know anything about the V-powers.

Auto part stores are not going to "specify" the NGK 6097 for a turbo MR2.
You can't find them by telling them you own a turbo MR2.

The plugs simply need to be ordered by their part number.

Gap depends on how much boost you are running and on which turbo.

If you are running a stock turbo on stock boosts it should be .032"
... on my set up, I am down to .025"

What's your set up?

You asked what the gap on the coppers should be ... I asked what is your setup?
... What turbo? How much boost are you running?
