i don't think you'll really get any performance advantages....mainly bodykits are purely for cosmectic purposes IMO...

I mostly agree with MRQturbo as far just being cosmetic. But a good front air damn can offer some areodynamic performance by keeping so much air from getting under the vehicle at higher speeds creating some lift. of course lowering your car can have the same effect. As far as weight goes, there are many variables to consider. what are the materials used for the kit parts? Carbon fiber, polyurethane, fiberglass, plastic? and there are many stages of quality with all those materials too. and of course , how much do you want to spend? and how much work are you willing to put into it?.Just do your homework and then decide.but beware, the many claims to fit well, but they almost always need some kind of "extra fabrication." if you are dead set on it, just go for what you think looks cool and you can afford.I have a body kit on my '91. i really like it, but we had to do some cutting, , grinding and lengthening, etc. it was a chore... good luck

weight won't be all that much of an issue......most kits......ur adding a front and rear bumper in place of stock bumper (or in some cases just add on pieces).....a rear spoiler weighs no less than 10lbs....

MR2BAD pointed out, the main purpose of front spoilers and ground effects kits is to limit the amount of air flow under the car thus creating more down force and less turbulance.

They functionality of the kit is really going to depend on how well it was designed.
There must be enough good results out there that it will bump you out of a class for SCCA racing.

pretty much just a front lip and some lowering, not to crazy still want to keep the driveability, not interested in cutting the factory body.
thanks

yea, I don't blame you. but alot of the kits either replace a front or rear bumper. and /or just attach pieces such as side skirts that just mount to the inside fender wells and door sills. just depends on the make and materials..alot of the body shops in my state won't even touch those things...I just happen to know a guy who used to do it for a living...
