Exhaust: Custom vs. Name Brand

Trying to figure out what kind of exhaust setup to use. I live in Oklahoma, and we no long have emissions inspections. I was thinking something along the lines of Blitz downpipe and HKS Hi-Power exhaust. From the pictures, it appears to replace everything in the stock exhaust. Will it? Or is it a better bet to find a reputable shop to make a custom, mandrel bent downpipe/exhaust and just use a universal muffler?

i stole a 3" tail pipe from a junk chevy van which i am going to modify to fit my car with downpipe (needs flanges and flex coupling only)

id go custom, then if you want to fix the design you wont be pissed on spending 600 plus on a nice aftermarket exhaust

Unless you have a very good local shop with a good mandrel bender, I would recommend an off-the-shelf unit. Around here, having a shop build a custom, mandrel-bent exhaust is almost as expensive as a name brand one.

Forget the Blitz downpipe. It only replaces the stock cat. Go with a full downpipe (ie. KO Racing) that includes the elbow unit as well.
