Is this a warm deal for 91T MR2

I've spoken with Josh of ChicoRaceWorks about one particular MR2 he has on sale. It's a black 91T sunroof that has a fresh JDM swap in the car. Chassis is around 140K and Josh guaranteed me everything is in perfect running condition. He also put in a new OEM clutch and new suede/leather seats. Josh is giving me a guarantee that nothing is wrong with the car and I trust him seeing as I've talked with him through aim dozens of times. Body is stock, paint looks fresh. The highlight for me with this car is definitely the

fresh genII swap with 30-40K, comp test check out great
new clutch
seats
and the guarantee because I never bought a used car before.

The price we agreed on is 7K. Josh assured me this car is not overpriced and it doesnt seem to be for me. The stock body and wheels are also a big plus for me since I won't be modding the exterior because of fear of theft (my nitrous civic was stolen outside my drive and still waiting for insurance settlement).

Any opinions on this car? I'm pretty set on buying it once insurance sends my check but would like to hear opinions. Thanks all

pics of the car would help...but i think that price is kinda high for turbo swapped car....if i were you....i'd bring the car to a mechanic that you know and trust and have them look over the car first...of course the seller is gonna tell you that nothing is wrong with the car....

ChicoRaceWorks is a pretty reputable shop here in Cali. There are several SoCal guys that drive all the way up there just to have things done. I actually have a friend that is buying a motor from him right now. I think you can pretty much take their word for what they say.... they are pretty well known in the MR2 community out here.

the car in question is definitly worth the $$ considering i could just slap together a MR2 and sell for less BUT like many others (who come here...) who buy used MR2s the seller is not always honest and ALOT of problems and expense as a result. being he is a more local buyer purchasing the car will also have "perks" associated with it such as mobile repair, discounted parts/labor/etc. if something does happen i was unaware of -- we don't just sling anything out over here -- always guarantee whatever we sell and go to great lenghts to insure the highest quality/satisfaction possible in everything we do which is why on the MR2 board myself or my business only has positive feedback 100%

Yeah Josh is 100% a trustable businessman. Sounds like a sweet deal.
