Richmond Service Sucked

Man, I wished I knew about this forum before I sold my 89 Supercharged! Was having with a leaky roof, dashboard lighting, etc and the service at Richmond Toyota totally sucked big time. A timing belt left me without a car for about a month one summer too. Being no mechanic, is there some other place in the Vancouver area that could have helped me out with this kinda thing?

My loss cuz I loved that car ever since I bought it brand new waay back then...and it hurt to let it go. It looks cool, mid-engine, pretty fast, 2-seater...Oh well live and learn I guess. I never figured there was a network like this on the net til a buddy introduced me to Subaru's version of this. See ya guys, and have fun with your MR2s!

Ya, their service sucks if you need major repairs or diagnostics. I think all they really specialize in is fluid and filter changes. Mostly young apprentices who would have no specialty tools to perform major service without FUBARing the job.

Same goes for Granville Toyota at 41st. Thumbs down.!!!!

Now I just make the time to fix things myself. They would rather that you buy a new car from them.

For a leaky roof you need to find a place that the Dealerships send their leaky cars that need fixing to. I saw one on Kent ave between Main and Cambie that has a sign advertising that they fix leaks.
