3sgte piping question??

whatsup everyone

i own a 91 n/a and i'm about to do a 2nd gen 3sgte swap. I just recieved my 3sgte package. It includes the engine, tranny, ecu, harness, turbo, all necessary cables and sensors. The guy who's putting it in my car says that i need to get some piping first. My question is, exactly what piping do i need to get to convert my n/a to a turbo. I'm guessing the package didn't come with the piping? Thanks for any replies.

"Piping" is a a bit too vague. We would have no way of knowing what is missing.
It could be intercooler pipe, coolant pipes, exhaust pipes, intake pipes, etc ...

Nahh, Hyde, it's the other piping...

CRACK PIPES !!!

J/K....

I bet he's talkin' 'bout intercooler pipes. If so, you can find that stuff everywhere. Ebay has like a bajillion little intercooler kit sets ranging from $150-$300. You can find a 2" set with coupler and clamps for $200 or less. Then slap in a reducer (2.5"-2") and there ya' go. All fixed.

Do you have an intercooler? If you don't I would recommend buying an aftermarket intercooler which most likely will come with piping. If you have the stock intercooler you can easily find some used piping. Check the for sale section on http://mr2oc.com and check http://xcars.com too.

Yah i got the stock intercooler. The package i received came with the intercooler but without the piping????? don't know why. I called the guy i bought everything from and he doesn't know why either. proly just a mix up somewhere...but he sent over everything i needed right away. So everything cool now. Thanks

i do have another question. Can i just buy turbo axles? or are they hard to find?

and if they're hard to find, does anyone know where i can buy upgraded axles? and for what price? Thanks

Turbo axles are kinda hard to find. Search the same places I posted before. I was lucky enough that my mechanic had a set laying around.

You need to know if you have an LSD tranny or not.
There are two different turbo axles.
Either an be ordered right from the dealer, but neither are cheap

Oh yah i have an LSD tranny. About how much is it from the dealer?

And...if i swap everything and put in the engine, tranny, and everything, is my car still driveable untill i buy the axles? or do i have to wait and put in the axles before i can even start driving it?

How can you drive without axles?!
Last time I checked they get the power from the transmission to the wheels, yo uare going to need them.

This is for the LSD AXLES:
Entire Axle:
D-side: 42340-17171 $277.57
P-side: 42330-17211 $334.00

How do you know you have LSD?

... also, I have 2 of the factory intercooler pipes if you still need pipes.
