Help a potential MR2 owner out.

Long story short, I had a GSR integra that was stolen, no theft insurance, and finally saved enough money to buy a car. I had turbo cars in the past (89 Supra turbo, 90 300ZXTT) but am now looking for something without headaches as im still in college. I came across a 93 MR2 N/A 5spd. The car has 80,000 miles looks very cared for with all records from the dealership including timing belt and tuneup. I have got the guy down to $5,500, what do u think about the price if the car is Flawless?

Also If anyone has a carfax they could run for me on the VIN id really appreciate it, im going to look at it tomorrow. Thanks so much for the help, im super poor.

Nate

Seems like a pretty decent price for a '93. You could probably pickup a '91 turbo for around the same price though.

If you have had turbo cars in the past, you will be disappointed with the lack of power on the NA. It will be slow even compared to your GS-R. If you want a reliable, great-handling car, the NA will be just fine.

i have an na that i bought for 1600, the only problem with it is that it lacks power but its fun as hell to drive and i love it. The only solution to the na is the 3sgte
