MR2 ENGINES???

Might be a stupid question but what's the best/fastest engine one can put into an MR2 (91+)?
I've heard of some Lexus engines being put into MR2's (S.A.R.D.).

I believe the Lexus' are V8's that race in Japan. (I wish I could do that).

sure the lexus v8 will fit but you will
need to figure out how to make car work
w/o a tranny as there is no way both will
fit into a 2..

The SARD car was also cut at rear strut towers and car was lengthened and was
custom for racing in rear like a GTP
car ..

get a built /stroked 3sgte if you want best / fastest motor..

i am doing 2 v-6 swaps but i am not building to have fastest or most HP..
i want a fast , well balanced car w/
nice torque and still make well over
200HP..
my twin turbo v6 target HP is 300-350
v6 more involved swap so i would suggest
3sgte motor..

now this is probablly a real NEWBIE question...I have a 91 Turbo MR2...what is my engine code or name? and what are the differences ?

engine code is 3SGTE...chassis code is SW20...
