Boost gauge install Q

I already searched the forums before, and found that install link to www.mr2.com about the HKS Boost gauge...the only problem is that I can't access the site anymore. I printed it out a while agol, but stupid me lost the sheets. Just need to know which line you tap into for the boost, and a visual would be awesome. Thanks.

A typical boost gauge is two wires: hot and a ground for the light.
And one vac/boost line. You just need to get vac hose and run it from teh gauge to the intake manifold. You can tap into the OEM Map sensor (next to the little diagnsotic box oin the trunk/engine firewall on the passenger side).

ok. Well, i am also installing my boost gauge too. A little long, but please help. J-n-H, i know you have the answer.

So i want to wire the light for the gauge to the dimmer knob, so that i can dim the boost gauge with the other gauges as well. I know someone will tell me to refer to the BGB, but i have and i haven't found what i needed to know. I also called a local Toyota dealer...spoke with a mechanic in the service dept. and he cannot seem to find the diagrams to help me with this. There are three wires going into the dimmer knob.

1)solid green (the mechanic said was constant power)
2)green with red stripe (intermittent power)
3)White w/black stripe (ground)

first, i wired the light to the intermittent wire (Green w/Red stripe) and the ground. the light worked, but was opposite of what i was expecting. As i turn the dimmer knob all the way off, the boost gauge lit up while all the other gauges dimmed, and vice-versa. I switched the wires, but same result. Then i hooked it up to the constant (solid green) and ground. the light stayed lit all the time even when the knob was turned. same result with the wires switched. Then i tried the intermittent with the constant (Green w/red and solid Green). This time the light worked as i had hoped for. Dimmed with the rest of the guages correctly. I just wanted to know if this is the correct set-up, just to be safe. I once hooked up jumper cables incorrectly and it started to smoke. I just don't want that to happen.

Super sorry for making it SO long. Thanks in advance.
