CT20b vs ATS's CT27 vs KO Racing's Street Brawler Kit

First off, I live in Oklahoma, and there aren't any emissions inspections. Few parts to the question. Which one is the better of the two CT turbos? And would it be better to use the better of those two turbos, with a KO downpipe/TKO exhaust, or just save for the Street Brawler kit? And as a quick side question, any reason the KO Street Brawler kit doesn't have an open-atmosphere wastegate?

What kind of power are you looking to get.... that is the first thing you really need to consider. Also how much boost do you want to be running to achieve that power?

The CT27 and CT20B are pretty much comparable turbos. ATS is saying that if you have a good condition CT20B.... there is no point in buying a CT27. So far I think the 27 has put down higher hp numbers though.

Looking for an easy 300+ whp, with similar torque and quick spooling (naturally). I'll do supporting mods necessary to get it (Fuel, cooling, etc.). But I dont want to stretch the limits on any part, especially the turbo, to put down numbers like that.

Your best bet would be the Street Brawler kit then.

Aight, thanks for the help. But any thoughts on the recirculated wastegate as opposed to the open-atmosphere?

also the CT20b tends to spool quicker than the bigger CT27 turbine.
due to the 20b being ceramic.

Thanks Lachean, but I was asking about the WASTEGATE, and why the Street Brawler kit recirculates it, and doesn't have the wastegate vent to the atmosphere.
