I sell the bags whenever I buy a MKII ... I never use them. I rarely even strap the t-top down.

I am 6'2", so I have my seat all the way back. Like this, the ttop doesn't fit back there, so they both go in the trunk, no bags.

bagging them up may keep them from getting scratched. i try to keep my trunk empty and the wieght down. 2's are a little tail heavy already. but trunk is OK.

i place them behind the seats...strapped always.....i'd be too scared to leave them in the trunk for fear of breaking them.....

trunk makes for a tight fit so they don't move that much, i put the bags between (not on)the 2 t tops to prevent them from rattling against each other. I strap them in as well every now and then, depends if i'm feelin lazy or not

I can't get the t-tops behind Hyde's seat with the rollbar anymore, so I have just been putting them in the trunk. They lean up nicely against the water injection reservoir ... just put a piece of bubblewrap betweene them.
