MR2 isn't something to play Gran Turismo with in the streets

Damn it! Scared me *bleep*less! So I took her out for one last drive before heading back to college. I'm just driving around my neighborhood, it's a very quiet neighborhood. I'm going like 35mph and I noticed that the street ran straight for about a block, so I decide to step on it while in 3rd gear. It wasn't all that icy out, but there was some salt and gravel on the road, too. I recently installed my boost gauge and wanted to see the needle jump, but once the boost hit, she spun out of control. I tried to countersteer, but then I got scared and hit the brakes. This sent her flying into a snow bank. Luckily the bank was small, so both she and I survived without any damage. Thank God.

Video games are video games. I work with this kid that owns a RSX Type S and he shifts at redline all the time just like he does in video games.

Let that be a lesson. Don't fuck around! You will be slapped!

That would sure make for a very jerky ride, there is no way he would be able to keep consistent pressure on the pedal until shifting.
