Question Gas/fuel Odor while I'm driving my mr2 turbo

I can't figure out what the odor is or where its coming from, but everytime I drive hard or normal it smells like gas. I think its the charcoal canister? I don't know anymore. I did a full tuneup. Everything is running nice and smooth. Just the odor I'm worried about. Any ideas?

I have the same problem .... but I generaly smell gas once I stop the car? I was thinking the same thing about the canister... but I'm not sure. my car has around 200k on it to date... might be time for me to finish the 5sfTe engine.

The turbo MR2 runs rich ... if you have an aftermarket BOV it will run even richer and you will smell fuel. It's just part of life until you get a set up that can be tuned to not run so rich.

Thumbs up

I have an HKS BOV,but I will put the stock by-pass-valve back to eliminate all the problems I'm having of running to rich.

I just reinstalled the factory by-pass valve no more gas smell. I'm happy now.
