hey guys im doing the NA to turbo swap and was wondering if the NA radiator will work properly with the swapped turbo engine? Toyota says that they are different and wont work, maybe because the turbo radiator has a better cooling capacity? not sure, it would be of great help!

99% of the people at toyota's dealership are dipshits. Your radiator will work fine. But you might wanna check into upgrading your fuel pump.

Thanx a bunch ishcoleobo, i was pretty sure the NA would work and I already replaced the fuel pump!! WoW everyone in the MR2 forum is soo helpful, thanks guys.

Did you happen to ask the dealer how many NA --> turbo swaps they have successfully done?

I used an NA radiator in with my new 3sgte for 4 months before an unrelated issue forced me to replace it ( I went with a turbo radiator because the NA radiators cost more new than the turbo ones do!). But ya , it will do the job!
