has anyone ever bought/used wheel spacers with the longer studs built into them? if so, how much did you pay for them? just trying to compare prices.... thx
I am currently using 2" spacers on the rear of my 93'.... they came with the built in studs, and seem to work great.... the only accessory you will need once you get spacers is a camber kit... or else your tires will wear like hell.
give me just a minute... I am trying to decide if I should keep my old connecting rods for my 5sfTe build.... I have heard they will pansy out from the boost, so I am looking into buying a set of titanium Pauter rods for $795... I'll check "my Ebay" real quick.
his ebay ID is COMPLETEVALUE ... I bought them back in september, so I can't view the site to tell you exactly what I paid... but I know it wasn't over $100
hey thx again MR-355-5sfte.. already paid for them . just like you said 1.25" for $65.00 plus ship .. looks like a good ebay store too. I'm gonna look over the rest of their stuff here in a few minutes. I can't believe that the other guys are selling smaller spacers for over $100.00 and used too. . thank you thank you thank you!!!
negative..... I actually just purchased another pair for a friend a few minutes ago.... I paid $27 shipped for these, and they are a setot front and rear adjustable from -1 to +1 degree.... the name of this ebayer is JJBOY925... I think this was his last set, but all you have to do is type in " mr2 camber" and a couple other sets will apear..... they are the exact same thing I have on my car, and I am running 2" spacers because of my flares.... they stoped the irregular tire wear.... but you should still have the wheels propperly aligned\toe\camber\castor by a shop that has the actual equipment designed for this task.... once you get the spacers\camber kit installed.
what size rims/tires are u running? offset? 1.25 is gonna be close for me as far as rubbing. but I think I'm gonna be ok. 17"x7" 215/40 in rr with +42 offset. what do you think?
I am running 205\40\17's with a +40 offset front and rear....the front is soooo close to the fender and flare when I fully turn the wheel, but that's because I also have TIEN S-Tech suspension kit installed... it dropped the hieght about 2" and still has a nice ride.... the rear could still come down and out about 1 1\2"....... how did you get your 215's to fit on a 7" wide wheel???
